Is everything you sell certified Organic?

Yes, every food and drink item we stock is certified organic and handpicked to the highest standard. We are fully licensed from the Organic Trust of Ireland and are frequently inspected to ensure all products are resisted organic. Our Organic licence number is 650 — IRL-0IB3-EU.

Do you support local farmers and suppliers?

Yes, wherever possible we source local produce from surrounding Irish producers; examples include fruit and vegetables from Marc Michel in Wicklow, chickens from Regan’s organic farm in Wexford, meat from Ballinree farm in Tipperary etc.

Do you support Eco Friendly issues?

Yes, we like to do our bit for the environment. Plastic bags are not used in our store. We print on only recycled paper, we even recycle packaging from our suppliers in store to pack our internet orders.

Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. At present we do not delivery outside the Island of Ireland

What is the cost of Delivery?

We charge a flat rate delivery charge of €6.50.

How do I qualify for free delivery?

Orders above €100 qualify for free delivery.

When do you deliver?

We will deliver your order as soon as we possibly can. Normally this is next business day, if you have placed your order before 2.00pm. We deliver Monday to Friday.

All accepted orders placed on a working day (Monday to Friday) before 2.00pm will be picked and set for dispatch on the same working day. These orders will arrive on the next business day*. All orders placed after the cut off time of 2.00pm on a working day, will be picked and dispatched the next working day. These orders will arrive on the next business day. Orders planed anytime on a non working day (Saturday and Sunday) will be picked and set for dispatch on a Monday to arrive with you Tuesday.

*Note some remote parts of Ireland may not have next day delivery, if you would like to check your area, please contact our customer service team.

Do you deliver to work and home addresses?

Yes we deliver to work and home address. Where possible we encourage you do get your delivery sent to your work address as this ensures there is someone there to receive the order.

What happens if my delivery is late?

You will receive a call to inform you about the late delivery. If for any reason you don't receive a call, please call Customer Services on 01 2781111.

What if I am out when my order is delivered?

The driver will leave a calling card with a contact number. You will ring to arrange a re-delivery time. A second delivery attempt is free of charge. If you miss the second delivery attempt, an additional delivery charge of €6.50 will apply.

Cancellations

Can I cancel my Oder before it has been dispatched?

You can cancel your order at any stage up to the point of dispatch (1.30pm on the day before delivery) at no charge. Simply call us on 01 2781111.

What is the charge for cancelling orders after it has been dispatched?

Orders cancelled post dispatch will incur a delivery charge of €6.50. Please note that orders cannot be cancelled by email.

Damaged Goods and Returns

What do I do if I receive goods damaged or broken in transit?

In the unfortunate case of goods being faulty or damaged in transit, The Organic Supermarket offer the choice of either a replacement or a full refund including any postage costs incurred. Goods can be returned by Registered Post or to our store at 2c Main Street, Blackrock, Co Dublin. All we ask is that you contact us first by phone on, 01 2871111, so that we can take care of everything.

What do I do if I wish to return something I purchased?

We hope you will be happy with your purchase. However, should you feel it necessary to return a non-perishable item, we aim to make the returns process as simple as possible. Please contact us on 01 2781111. You will be required to return the goods, unopened and as new with a copy of your original invoice, via An Post Registered Post or by person to our Blackrock Store. Unfortunately in those circumstances you will be responsible for any costs incurred in returning the goods.
