Fully-organic market opens
Ireland’s only fully-organic supermarket opened on Main Street in Blackrock, Co Dublin last month, to a very positive reception.
Managing director Darren Grant hopes that customers will use this ‘‘indoor farmers’ market’’ to shop every few days instead of doing a big weekly shop, so that they use fresher ingredients rather than heavily-processed chemical-laden foods.
Grant also aims to open at least three more shops in Dublin over the next five years. The Organic Supermarket is located at 2C Main Street, Blackrock, and is open seven days a week.
