It’s National Organic Week from 13th-19th September 2010. To celebrate we are offering 10% off all fruit and vegetables. To raise a glass to the event we are also offering 10% all organic wine. There are over 70 events taking place nationwide this week including, organic farm walks and cookery demonstration.
In our Blackrock store there will be tasting every day, commencing with some organic tea sampling at 3pm. In addition to this we are delighted to announce that Ciaran Cuffe, the Minister of State of Horticulture, in will be in store today to meet the team and see first had the growth of organic food. The latest forecast is that the organic food market in the Republic of Ireland will grow from a 2009 level of €120m to €239m by 2013. Not bad in a recession! We continue our mission to bring good wholesome food to masses.
